Why is Tread Lightly! Important to You?

We recently asked our members “Why is Tread Lightly! important to you?” Here’s just a few responses from our wonderful members:

Because we need to keep our trails open!

I enjoy offroading and I want my kids to be able to enjoy the same.

Because TL works to promote responsible motorized recreation that hopefully will help keep the trail access we have and may improve the public’s opinion about our community.

Tread Lightly! has great programs to help support the off road community.

Because someone needs to promote treading lightly.

I have been a 4×4 owner for almost 40 years and want to see our trails continue to be open and taken care of.

Tread Lightly! promotes proper use of trails, and helps keep trails open for use.

I initially joined specifically for the Chrysler discount, but as I learned more about the stewardship and education programs I realized how important they are.

As a nonprofit organization, Tread Lightly! relies on the generosity of charitable donations to support our national education and stewardship programs. Membership dues provide invaluable funding that helps us promote outdoor ethics and protect and enhance recreation access and opportunities.
